A confirmation statement, filed on form CS01, is a yearly filing that confirms the information Companies House holds about your company is correct. It used to be called the annual return.
What it confirms
The statement confirms your registered office, directors, secretary, shareholders, share capital, and people with significant control. If nothing has changed, you simply confirm the details are still correct.

It is separate from your accounts
The confirmation statement is not the same as your annual accounts. Accounts report your company's finances; the confirmation statement confirms who and where the company is. Most companies file both each year.
Does 2028 affect it
No. The 2028 software-only change applies to annual accounts, not the confirmation statement. You will still be able to file your CS01 through WebFiling after 2028.
