WebFiling.uk is a free, independent service helping UK company directors get ready for the biggest change to accounts filing in a generation.
Why we exist
From 1 April 2028, Companies House closes web and paper filing for annual accounts. Every company will need commercial software to file in iXBRL. Millions of directors who file their own accounts today, especially dormant, micro and small companies, will need a simple way to keep doing it. That is the gap we are here to close.
What we are building
Two things. Free tools and guides that explain exactly how the 2028 change affects you, starting with our company checker. And a simple filing tool, launching in early 2027, that turns your figures into a compliant filing in minutes, with no accountant and no jargon. Founding members get 3 years free, then never more than £39/year.
Who it is for
Directors of dormant, micro-entity and small UK limited companies. Contractors, Amazon and Shopify sellers, and anyone who files their own accounts and wants to stay compliant without paying for software they do not understand.
